Hey Hey Hey!!!
SOOO Sister Smith and I will be in EAST KILBRIDE for another
6 weeks!!! YAY!! :)
First off thank you for praying for John!! He is planning a
baptism now! Keep praying though because we still have 2 weeks he has to get
through before the big day!! Nov. 19. We had a miracle week here in East
Kilbride. We taught a lesson every day this week!!!!! We also have a teaching
pool and 3 people with a date!!! We also had two friends attend church!!!!
AHHHH!!! It was such an exciting week, we also have 3
solid potentials that we are going to be having a first lesson with this
week!!!!
Cool story! Sister Smith and I were having a hard day of
finding on Wednesday. We were so tired, and we were seeing no success at all...
we said a prayer to be able to find someone that we could teach, and before we
even opened our eyes a random voice says "Hi Sisters" we were like
what the heck just happened, but the man had already gone inside so we couldn't
do anything about it! We go on not really sure what happened, but we keep
finding and then he comes up to us and starts telling us his life story and
everything. Long story short he and his family were taught by the missionaries
about a year ago, but they didn't get baptized because his wife wasn't ready.
SOOOOO now we get to teach a family!! and they are married planning a wedding and stuff!!! How
cool is that!!!
Second cool story!!! We
| Yep I was taking pictures! |
Story number three! We get a phone call from a random number
saying hey can I meet with y'all on Monday to learn more about your church?? We
were like of course!!!! :) God is blessing us so much here!!! It's for real the
best thing ever!!! People are coming to us to be taught and it is so cool
to see!!
Funny story of the week! Sister Smith and I were playing the
word game while GQing. I gave her the word "ocean" which she had to
put in her conversation with someone! So we were getting a little fed up with
the old (rude) people... (I know not Christlike at all but we are still working
on it) and she asked someone if they had been baptized the little old lady was
pretty rude so Sister Smith asked while she was walking away " were you
baptized in the ocean?!?! Because you could have been!" It was so funny to
see the face of the old lady!!!
| They were worth it! |
Overall this week has been great! We saw so many miracles,
and we learned so much!! We had a combined Zone Conference with the Paisley Zone, and
it was just so great to hear President Donaldson again! He is such a great man,
and I am so blessed to have him as my mission president!
Love you guys!! Have such a great week!! Miss you tons!!
Sister Kotter :)
