Week 51

Mom,

First of all, you and dad are so cute! Your date nights are adorable!! And the flies make it even better :) I'm so glad I have parents that love each other ;) 

This week was crazzzzyyy!!! It was moves week, and since I have a car I got the wonderful opportunity to drive all the sisters where they needed to be! Although I was at the airport 5 times in 2 days and didn't get in any missionary work till Thursday it was a really good experience. Sister Gregson and I were able to get to know the sisters better, and start the transfer off with building friendships with them, which is always a good thing :) We have some really great sisters here in Ireland. I'm so excited to see how this transfer goes!!

I'm very sad to see Sister Checketts go,  but I'm so excited to have Sister Gregson as my new companion! She is such a hard worker, and an amazing missionary!!! I don't think I've worked so hard on my mission yet!! It's going to be a great transfer!! Funny story sister Gregson and I were on the plane ride to the MTC together :) We had our luggage lost in Paris together, and everything and now one year later we're companions here in Dublin!! I can tell its going to be a good transfer with her! 

Miracle of the week! We found the most sincere 18 year old Brazilian guy ever!!! His name is Marlon! He just moved here to study English, but his English is pretty much perfect! Anyways, when we stopped him, we started to talk about god and The Book of Mormon, you know the usual things, and he agreed to meet with us! As we were teaching him he kept expressing a desire to come to church, and to know if this was true and to just come closer to God!! We were able to set him with a baptism date, and were excited to help him work towards that date!!!  

Funny moment Sister Gregson and I were teaching this man names Jan. Pronounced Juan or John anyways, we were teaching him about The Restoration and then he all of a sudden wants to show us pictures of a Greek Orthodox baptism... but his phone was too dark to see with the "sun" that was so bright that day. Jan then proceeds to get under Sister Gregson's jacket so he can show us the picture (see picture below) we were dying an couldn't believe that this was  happening! It was all together a funny lesson! 

I'm so grateful for the opportunity I have to serve the Lord! It's been such a good week! Sister Gregson and I are making it a goal this transfer to be Christ centered in all we do. It's been cool to see how when you make small changes to become even more Christ centered there are huge results!!! I'm so grateful for my savior Jesus Christ, and all he has done to lift and support me! I couldn't be doing the work I am doing with out Him carrying me along! I love y'all all so much, and hope you have an amazing week!!!

Dad,

I love my new comp!! I don't think I have ever worked so hard in my life! We had a really cool MLC (mission leader conference) this week. It was all about being Christ centered. So, Sister Gregson and I want to have a Christ centered transfer! We're doing all we can to learn about Christ, and talk about Christ. We're doing all we can do to really have all our conversation point towards Christ. Truly making him the center of our lives. It's been really cool already to see how the little changes we are making have made a huge difference! That's a challenge I have for you and mom! Find ways to make your life more Christ centered, and tell me the changes that happen from it!! I'm excited to  hear how it goes!! :) Love you so much! Have an amazing week!!!
