Week 64

Mom,

So, we decided it was officially Christmas time! The lights are on in Dundee, and the tree is up in the city square!! It is definitely looking a lot like Christmas over here. ðŸŽ„
This week was full of ups and downs, like most weeks. We had exchanges with the Sisters in Glenrothes.  Sister Winn is amazing she is 3 transfers out, but just kills it with missionary work! She reminds me that I need to keep working hard and enjoy every moment of my mission! Even the long 9 hour days of finding!! You would think missionary work would get easier this time of the year, but it is actually the opposite. People are so busy and they just rush around with a to-do list that is so long! Although, everyone is a bit happier which makes it nice. Even with all the business going on we still see miracles!!
Our friend Liam was baptized this Sunday. He has been learning for about a month now! Sister Palmer and I started to teach him and at first, we really didn't think anything would come of it. But soon Liam stated to progress and yesterday he made that first covenant with our Heavenly Father!! He even showed up to church in a kilt because he felt it was a very special day!! It was actually really funny!!! He said it was too cold to do that again! I just laughed because we have to wear skirts every day!
Other than that it was a pretty normal week! We had lots of food and tons of sweets. A couple of hot chocolates to keep ourselves warm, and lots of scripture study to keep our hearts warm.
This week I was studying Presidents Nelson's talk about where our life would be without The Book of Mormon. I took some time to truly ponder this and think about what my life would be like without this book. The thing that kept standing out to me was eternal families. Without this gospel eternal families would be non-existent. I don't know about y'all but I want to be with my family forever.
Y'all are honestly the greatest! I'm looking forward to talking with you in just 28 short days.
We do have moves on the 18th so right before Christmas... I'm not sure if I'll stay or move buI'mim really hoping to stay! I love Dundee and there is loads of work to be done here!!

Hope you have an amazing week!! love you tons!!

Sister Kotter :)
