Week 71

Mission Leader Training Conference

Hey Mom,

I hope y'all had an amazing birthday celebration for Dad yesterday! I know I ate some cake to celebrate. 2 more years, and then he will hit 50!!! that's crazy!!! Y'all are getting old!
This week was a week full of ups and downs, but that's how a mission goes. I'll tell you a few of my most memorable stories for your enjoyment.

We had exchanges this week with a team of sisters that was struggling pretty hard with lots of different things. Knowing this I wanted our exchange to be full of the spirit, and be what this sister needed to feel uplifted. It was amazing to see how as I was praying and preparing Heavenly Father laid our day out perfectly, so we could have Christ-centered conversations, and see so many miracles!! I was also so blessed because the Spirit was truly able to guide me that day, and I was extra sensitive to the promptings I received. It made me think about how I need to make sure I am listening and aware of the spirit at all moments of my day and to not get caught up in the routine of missionary work.

The work this week was not the greatest week in the world a lot of our friends dropped us so we won't be meeting with them again. A couple others moved so we referred them to other missionaries. Needless to say, this next week will be a good opportunity to start fresh and find the elect that God has prepared for us to teach. If you want to pray for someone please pray for Clinton. He is so close to baptism, but he is just having a hard time making it to church on Sundays! Pray for him to have the desire to come and feel the spirit that comes from attending church as he is preparing for his baptism!

I love y'all so much! I feel so blessed to be here serving at this time!! God truly is good and he really does have a perfect plan for all of us!

I hope you have an incredible week!
Sister Kotter
