Week 72

Mom,

I think this week I deserve an award for not killing anyone! Hahaha, Scotland decided to have a huge snowstorm off and on all week! (sounds a bit like Georgia) but because Sister Ellsworth isn't allowed to drive anymore I had the responsibility to drive across Scotland in the snow! It was a disaster, but we're alive to tell the tale! 

It was a great week!! We were able to go to Edinburgh for a conference! It was the day after President Nelson was called as the next prophet. We were able to watch the video that they sent out. As I sat and listened to President Nelson speak, I felt the spirit so strongly tell me that he is the Lord's prophet on the earth now! I am so grateful for that spiritual witness that I had! I am so grateful for a living church and the fact that God wants us to know for ourselves that he is our Heavenly Father!! 

We met a really cool guy this week named Hang. He was so kind and let us into his flat and tried to help us experience Chinese culture....unfortunately some of that culture includes drinking tea. We explained to Hang that w don't drink tea but he keeps making it for us. Anyways to make a long story short we have to keep refusing the guys tea. At the end of the appointment, he tells us that the tea that he made us costs £500!!!! This 21-year-old Chinese guy made us £500 tea!! It was crazzzyyy!!!! He then gives us many different Chinese gifts and sweets so that was nice. We gave him a Book of Mormon in return.

I love Glasgow! I love the work and I love being able to share with others what I hold so dear!!
