I've decided that time goes by way to0 fast and it needs to slow down!! It seems like just yesterday I was sitting on these computers telling y'all my amazing stories. Those stories seem to be coming to an end.
So, first, here's a bit about my trainees :)
Sister Kearns! She is from Denver Colorado. She loves to dance and do musical theatre stuff. She is majoring in Chemistry and wants to become an eye doctor (free eye exams in the futures??) haha She is an amazing missionary and is working so hard to help the people around her!! She is really willing to learn and grow which is an amazing quality!!
Sister Killian is from Arizona (we both don't do cold) she also loves to dance and do musical theatre stuff!! (there's a lot of singing going on in our flat) she is so good! She just wants to learn how to be the best missionary she can be!! She has amazing ideas!!
I love them both! They are changing my mission every day!! I'm so grateful for their examples to me!!
This week we had Sister Conference!! It was so nice to see all the sisters in the mission! We talked about "Bloom Where You are Planted"! It was really just helping us to see that no matter what, we can be positive examples of Jesus Christ! I want to always be that positive example of Christ!!
Later on, in the week, Sister Killian was able to do many firsts as a missionary!
*Encounter with a drunk man
*Kebab
*Hug from a random old man on the street
*Day of all rain
*Sacrament meeting, of course, she got to speak!
*Random old man buying us Scottish things
*First Kinder Bueno bar!
*Today we will go to her first castle!!!
The list goes on and on, but it was so fun to be there with her! It made me feel like a greenie again!!
I'm so grateful for the time I get to serve! I'm so grateful that God is a loving Heavenly Father and he knows what we need in our lives! I love you all!!
Love,
Sister Kotter
