Week 77

Hello!!!!

What a week it has been!! And by that I mean holy heck, it's been another week!?!?! They just keep going by faster and faster!! This week was a pretty normal one though! Our friend Alec is working on stopping smoking so he can be baptized!!! He has been off smoking for 5 days now!! We are so excited! He is set for the 16th of March which will be my last working day as a missionary! Pray that he can stay off of smoking so he can make it to that day! :)

The Relief Society had a Scottish night for one of there activities this week! We went to help out, and to experience a night full of Scottish traditions! Since we were the only people there not from Scotland we had the honour of standing up in front of everyone and try to decipher the Scottish sayings here are a couple you can try

Haste ye back!
Numpty (my personal favourite!)
It's a dreich day (hint I say this every morning as I walk out of the flat)
Wheesht
Skelp
Awa an bile yer heid
Yer aff yer heid
Ah dinnae ken

Bonnie
(answers below)

I actually knew most of them so I was proud!! But I'll admit there were a couple I still had no clue what they meant!

I am so grateful I am here and able to serve the Lord! I cannot even begin to describe how much I have learned this week from my trainees, studies, and those around me! God has really blessed me at this time to be able to feel of his spirit more abundantly! I'm so thankful for this!

I love you tons! I hope your week is amazing!

Sister Kotter
