Week 4

 Mom,

What a week!!! Like for real its been crazy! Everything is pretty much a blur, but I'm here and alive! Yes I am whitewashing an area, but on top of that there hasn't been missionaries in east Kilbride in 3 years!! So we have a teaching pool of zero... for real we just spend all day every day finding. So far we met one guy who was kinda interested, he even said he would be baptized....then he looked up Mormons online :/ I just wanted to shake him!! you don't ever look up stuff about our church by people who hate our church!! but its okay! We will just keep finding people, and we will help to make east Kilbride a better place!! 

I am not riding a bike. I walk or ride buses/trains every where! Its been super confusing trying to figure out where we are this week, and how to get around. We keep getting lost...but its okay because the Lord always helps us find our way home!! We get to talk with some cool people when we get lost so its all worth it!! Funny story, on my second day here it poured on us! like freezing cold rain! I was soaked to the bone! All me and Sister Smith could do was laugh! It's funny how the Lord makes us so happy when normally we would be so angry about being cold and wet!!

I'm not going to lie, being here is hard! I'm always cold and winter hasn't even come yet! But I have found so much joy being here as well!! I'm learning and improving everyday!! I can see myself being molded into the person god wants be to be, and its amazing!! It may be a slow process, but it's happening!!

So East Kilbride is beautiful, but the work is slow! Mostly because missionaries haven't been here in forever. We knock on 30 thousand doors, and we talk to 30 thousand people and it seems like nothing is coming out of it! But it will! We will find the people that are ready to her the gospel! We just have to work so hard!!

Conference was great!!!!! All the talks seems to tell me exactly what I needed to hear!! I am so grateful we have prophets and apostles to guide us!!

I love you so much!!! Y'all rock!! Keep being awesome!! And help the missionaries!! Give them people to teach!!!!! Because finding people stinks!! Like for real! :)

Dad,

First off I love you!!! Second...I'm about to drop some pounds on a coat.... mine is NOT water proof. hahah so ill be using the card!! Sorry about that, but I need to stay warm!

So conference was the best!! I for real loved it!!! It was such a hard week! Leaving all my friends in the MTC and trying to adjust to new people and a new area... super hard! but so worth it!! I love it here!! like for real love it!! It's hard cause missionaries haven't been in my area for years!! So we are just chapping and gqing alllllll day!! It's what we gotta do till we find that person that is ready to hear the truth! I was so scared coming here, but I am so happy I'm here! Everytime I think about what I'm doing here (which is often when you have like 100 thousand doors say no) I just think about how blessed I am! like you were saying! we can do more!!! everyone can do more!! I want to challenge you and the family to pray and to find someone to give to the missionaries by the 24th of October! you can do it!! and it will make the missionaries and your daughter so happy!!! TALK TO EVERYONE! That's the only way you will be able to find someone for the missionaries! I love you so much!! and I miss you so much!! You guys are really the greatest!!
