Week 17

Hey y'all!!!

So update on my life...it has been a crazy past couple of weeks!! It all started Christmas Eve!! We had Christmas Eve, Christmas, and Boxing Day off!!! Then Tuesday was a half p-day, and then we had New Year's Eve, New Year's Day and the day after New Year's day off!! Tomorrow is a half p-day again!!! Plus Sister Smith has been a wee bit sick...let's just say that we haven't gotten much missionary work done!

More about my week :) Apparently, I've been sleep talking a lot... poor Sister Smith has to listen to me ramble on in my sleep about different things :)  She says its not that bad so that's good!! It's been super windy this week!!! I'm having a hard time keeping my feet on the ground as we are walking :) It's actually really funny!! Boxing Day we spent with Granny Green! She fed us tons of sweets, and we watched movies all day!!! New Year's Eve: we stayed up till 10:30 and drank root beer floats!! It was a real celebration!! hahaha 

New Year's Day we had a BBQ!!!! The McNalley's has us over.  Apparently, the Scottish people BBQ all year round! (because there's no point in waiting for good weather, it doesn't ever come :) We had steak hamburgers and BB! chicken!! Best New Year's day BBQ ever!! I did miss my black eyed peas.... I guess I wont be making any money this year :)

2017! I am so excited for it!! I was thinking, and I get to spend this whole year as a missionary!!!! It makes me so happy to think that this year is dedicated to serving the Lord, and helping people come closer to Him. I love being a missionary, and I love helping others know the Savior! I hope y'all all have an amazing year!! I love you to death!! :)
